Java Developer (f/m)


At axlab, we develop software products for international customers. Our products are based on a modern technology stack with highly automated integration and deployment processes. The development team shares a strong focus on quality driven development and agile software methodology.


Your role 

You will drive the development road map for our customer's portfolio of highly scalable and reliable products. As a member of a cross-functional team you will be responsible for the backend integration and REST API layers. You work closely with the Product Owner and key users to deliver new features and solutions.


Your profile

  • You have several years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on Spring Boot.
  • You have a solid understanding and proven track record of applying software engineering principles including scalable application architectures and continuous delivery.
  • You have good knowledge of relational databases and the JPA specification.
  • Experience with containers and AWS is appreciated.
  • A high degree of autonomy and self-motivation is expected.

And most of all, you are keen to implement great new products for our customers in an agile environment.

Front-end Developer (f/m)

Your role

You are responsible for designing and implementing the React-based front-end for our charter allotment and inventory management solution. As part of a cross-functional team you will integrate the user interface with our service back-end. You work closely with the Product Owner and key users to create a great user experience with this new product.


Your profile

  • You have several years of working experience in Javascript front-end development with a focus on React and TypeScript.
  • You have a solid understanding of software engineering principles including application architecture and the OOP model.
  • You have a strong interest in automated testing and deployment for implementing reliable solutions.
  • Experience with Java, containers and AWS is appreciated.
  • A high degree of autonomy and self-motivation is expected.
  •  You have working experience with REST web services.

And most of all, you are keen to implement great new products for our customers in an agile environment.
